Gist of it:
He bought a new PC, keeps locking all the time. Microsoft Windows Vista is rubbish. Do not buy it.
As you found out, he's just gone slightly, but justifiby, nuts.
I just bought a new computer: specified XP. Of course that had 41 updates to run.
